Initially working in a salon as a receptionist, it didn’t take Lisa long to fall in love with the art of hairstyling and esthetics. Inspired to go further in the industry, she went on to graduate from the Alberta Academy of Esthetics in 1994 and proceeded to attend many other courses including advanced facial training, pedicures, and body sugaring. Feeling that she could broaden her horizons even more, she began an in-salon hair styling apprenticeship in 1999 and took a number of skill-building classes in cutting and coloring. Lisa was a make-up artist for Clairol in Allied Beauty Association shows for several years in the past and is eager to showcase her hair styling capabilities in upcoming trade shows and competitions. Lisa’s specialties include head-to-toe makeovers, trendy colors, and nail art. Although she is undoubtedly passionate about all aspects of her profession, Lisa says that her favorite part of working as an esthetician and stylist is in seeing her clients leave the studio feeling good
