Meet Tosha

Born and raised in the Grande Prairie area, Tosha is married with three beautiful children.  She loves camping, reading, and planning events for the non-profit she’s a part of – she has so many hidden talents!  

Tosha is an absolute natural when it comes to hair.  She started doing her friends’ hair at age 12, and obtained her journeyman license through the Northern Lights Academy of Cosmetology in 2004.  Although she says she loves every service, Tosha really lights up with colours and drastic changes. Tosha listens with compassion and empathy – you’re sure to leave the salon feeling lighter and confident in your own skin (with amazing hair)!

Tosha says that working at The Headroom was the best decision she’s made, but we know we’re the ones that won the lottery!  She’s thriving in our tight-knit community here and loves that we take self-care and family time so seriously.

What do you want your guests to know about you?

“That I’m here solely to make them feel beautiful and confident. And I will never ever do a service that I believe they won’t like, ask for out of emotional duress, or that could ruin their hair. I will put 100% into my clients.”

What 3 things would you take on a deserted island? 

A Kobo full of books of almost every genre, water, and a knife

What is your spirit animal?

“A wolf, I’m naturally a leader and very protective of my pack.”
