How much will my wedding cost?
At The Headroom we are completely transparent with all Bridal fees, right from the start. Filling out the Bridal Questionnaire will give you individual service pricing before we even connect, but your first correspondence from us will provide a full, detailed quote for your consideration. We include travel (if requested), tip (15%) and tax on our quotes, so there will be zero ‘surprises’… until your mother in law changes her mind, or your brother’s girlfriend wants to be included 😉
HOT TIP: We offer payment plans! You can take advantage of our payment plan options for both your 50% Deposit and your final payment if you like. Contact us to find out more.
Do you have hair stylists that specialize in weddings?
Yes! Our Bridal Artistry Team is passionate about making your wedding as stress free and seamless as possible, and have dedicated themselves to a higher level of education and skill to do so. We offer in house bridal makeup and hair education for our team annually, and have a strict policy determining 1) who is invited to be on the Bridal Artistry Team, and 2) who is asked to be LEAD Bridal Services (aka provide Bridal Hair + Makeup).

I want longer hair for my wedding. What are the options for Extensions?
We appreciate you planning ahead! Step one is to alert us. Your Bridal Concierge will ask about your plans at the start but it is up to you to keep us informed along the way. Extensions require a little extra timing (colour matching, shipping time, installation etc) and we never want you to feel short on time… especially around your wedding!
How many times do I have to lighten my hair to get it WHITE?
Hair is a process. From black to white there is always an awkward orange phase, that all of us (even Kim Kardashian) have to get through. Your hair will lift at a different rate, and may lift through the orange in one visit, two, or more. The only way to really know, is to lift it! Your hair history (eg box colour), ethnicity, hair texture etc will factor in, but our stylists are experienced and can help manage your expectations at your consult. We can do test pieces, and will always let you know what your next reservation is before you leave so you know what’s next.
HOT TIP: At home, professional products and protein treatments can hide brassiness and build up hair strength to minimize time between stages. Ask your stylist what treatment is best for your hair, and how you can support your blonding process best from home.
I LOVED my bridal look - will you teach me how to do my makeup going forward?
We would love to educate you so you have the knowledge to do your hair and/or makeup regularly at home! Our artists offer education sessions and can review your at home products, tools and techniques so you aren’t starting from scratch. Book an event makeup session or formal style and relay your goals with the front desk team or your stylist ahead of time so they can plan for you.

What look is best for me?
This question gets asked all the time, and is so subjective. The best way to answer it is to look back at photos of you to see what you liked the most… hair up? Hair down? Winged eyeliner? Smoky eye? Test it out! Book your Bridal Preview and know that you’ll have the chance to try more than one look, more than one style, and if you’re still not sure, you can book a second ($85 per service for additional Bridal Trials) to try it out.
HOT TIP: Reserve your engagement photo hair and makeup services with the same artists you’re looking at for your wedding! Like most photographers, we pair event makeup and hair services to get to know our guests, allow you to get to know us, and get your wedding off on the right foot!
I didn’t LOVE my trial - what do I do now?
Connect with your concierge! This is one of the reasons you have your very own Bridal Concierge here at The Headroom. Please reach out, be honest, and let us solve any issues / concerns as they arise. No need to worry here!
How do I reserve my day?
Phew! Weddings are competitive here, and we often have 3+ bridal parties booked on Saturdays between June – September. Booking as early as possible is the only way to ensure our Bridal Artistry Team is available for your preferred wedding day.
HOT TIP: Book a weekday! Vendors will often offer services and rentals for lower pricing during the week, you’ll give your guests a free weekend in the summer, and you’ll have your choice of venues! If it’s not too late, consider a Thursday wedding and get the anniversary date you like… without focusing on the Saturday that works best!
