Sydney began her hairstyling journey in Edmonton, and has brought her talent, creativity, and adventurous spirit to Grande Prairie for an exciting new chapter with The Headroom.
Known for her trend-savvy style and warm, genuine energy; Sydney is the kind of stylist who makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. Her adventurous personality shines through in everything she does; whether she’s exploring the outdoors to recharge, or meticulously crafting a customized hair transformation. She’s inspired by icons in the industry like @missbohoblonde and draws daily motivation from stylists like Taya Tkachuk, Devyn Penney, Sara Botsford, and Amelia Jane.
Sydney’s move to The Headroom was inspired by the team’s tight-knit culture and the professional growth she witnessed in longtime friend and stylist Jordan. “It’s the healthy work environment we all dream of,” she says. She’s eager to continue evolving her craft in a salon that champions creativity, support, and community.
Outside of the salon, Sydney’s playlists are always changing, but you might catch her listening to the original Neon Moon by Brooks & Dunn. She’s also the kind of person who packs her Kindle, chapstick, and curling iron for a deserted island; a perfect mix of laid-back and glam.
