Kayla loves the creative possibilities of hairstyling, from a simple refresh to a complete transformation. She especially enjoys working with colour and is excited to continue developing her craft in lived-in blondes, rich brunettes, vivid colours, and alternative cuts. With a natural appreciation for art and a passion for learning, she’s always looking for new techniques, inspiration, and opportunities to push her creativity further.
What drew Kayla to The Headroom was the opportunity to grow within an established, professional salon that values education, creativity, and exceptional guest experiences. As she begins building her clientele in Calgary, she’s excited to learn from the industry, take on new challenges, and create a career that reflects her love for the art of hair.
Outside the salon, you’ll find Kayla soaking up the sun on a beach, painting, or browsing the record store for her next favourite find. Her playlists range from Taylor Swift’s All Too Well (10 Minute Version) to Pierce the Veil, reflecting her eclectic taste and creative spirit.
