Meet Valerie

Valerie is a vibrant and genuine stylist with a heart as big as her laugh, both of which are unforgettable. With a warm, old-soul energy and a down-to-earth nature, Valerie instantly puts people at ease. Her chair is a safe space, where guests feel seen, welcomed, and uplifted. Whether it’s a bold colour transformation or a heartfelt chat, Valerie brings her full self to each moment.

She’s been doing hair since 2019, discovering her passion for colour as a teen and following it all the way into a rewarding career she truly loves. Inspired by encouragement from her cousin, Valerie took a leap of faith into the industry and hasn’t looked back since.

Her specialties include colour corrections, fashion colours, blonding, and women’s cuts. Valerie has proudly completed her Year 1 and 2 exams, received our internal HR “Most Improved” award, and continues to grow her confidence and skill every day. With the support of her mentor Elyse and the welcoming team at The Headroom, Valerie has truly found her stride and her salon family.

What she loves most about The Headroom is its blend of professionalism and support. After spending time there with One Beauty, she knew it was the place she belonged.

Outside of the salon, Valerie’s life is grounded in love; especially quality time with her kids, who are her pride and joy. She’s proud of how far she’s come, both personally and professionally, and is excited to keep reaching new heights as she continues her journey through The Headroom’s apprentice program.
